good to hear a recommendation on Everest for system component ID'ing ... sadly, they're not making their personal version available anymore ... if someone knows of a site with the latest version of the personal version downloadable, many folks would appreciate it

I use CPUZ to find out what hardware component my computer has. The built in System Information and Dxdiag utilities tell me nothing about my computer. And clicking on Windows + Pause Break also tells me nothing but what processor I'm running, Windows and Service Pack version, and how much RAM I have.
